Wildlands CPR works with Canadian citizens in Alberta and British Columbia to protect pristine habitat in those Provinces through stopping new wildland road construction, promoting road removal, and limiting motorized recreation. Canadians are particularly concerned about new road construction relative to oil and gas development, which can involve hundreds of miles of new roads in sensitive habitat areas. These "linear barriers" as they are sometimes called, can then be accessed by off-road vehicles that tear further and further into the backcountry. |
** Non-working phones will be recycled. If your donated phone cannot be reused, it will be recycled in accordance with federal and local environmental standards for its metal and plastic components.
Charitable Recycling reserves the right to refuse the shipment of phones that it deems in violation of the spirit of the program.
